About us

We are Sapna Elena Pradhan and Malini Natalia Pradhan, two sisters at Flintridge Preparatory School in La Canada, CA, USA when we conceived and started our charity project in 2024. Our parents are from Nepal and northern India. We know how fortunate we are to be able to grow up in Los Angeles in America. Had we been born in another place and time in Nepal, we could have just as easily have been two of the majority of underprivileged children in Nepal, struggling to make a life, let alone stay healthy, get educated, and simply engage in sports and fun.

As of this writing, Sapna is a sophomore high school student at Flintridge Preparatory School, with her main avocation being the sport of softball. Malini is a freshman at the University of California, Berkeley, charting a course in premedical studies. We hope to bring our own values of education, health, and sports to the young girls who have few opportunities in our ancestral homeland of Nepal.

Our goals for this project are as straightforward as they are essential. We hope to be able to give back at least in part what we have been able to benefit from in our blessed United States. We want to raise awareness and help to those in need in rural Nepal, and subsequently other underprivileged areas worldwide. It starts with health, education, and the application of both. Please join us as we endeavor to support education and health for impoverished children in rural and forgotten parts of Nepal, and to support youth sports and community activities.
